Manikin Electronic Memotron M2K — Mint Condition — The Tron Tapes Vol. 1 Included

For sale is my Manikin Electronic Memotron M2K, in mint condition.

*** The first sound I have loading is Paul McCartney's original flute recording used on Strawberry Fields Forever from the original Mellotron tapes! ***

The Memotron M2K is Manikin Electronic's remarkable digital recreation of the classic Mellotron, using high-quality samples of original vintage instruments and tape-based sounds while providing the reliability, polyphony and flexibility of a modern digital instrument.

This M2K is exceptionally clean and has been very well cared for.

The M2K includes its original 100-sound Basic Collection, consisting of:

These are the standard sounds included with the M2K.

Also included is The Tron Tapes Vol. 1, which I purchased separately.

The Tron Tapes library was compiled from Martin Smith's renowned British tape library and provides additional authentic Mellotron sounds beyond the standard M2K library.

Condition

• Mint condition non-smoking studio kept, always covered
• Fully functional
• Excellent cosmetic condition
• Carefully maintained
• All controls, keyboard, outputs and functions operate properly

The M2K features a solid metal chassis, 35-key keyboard, fully polyphonic operation, MIDI In/Out/Thru, stereo line output, headphone output, volume-pedal input, internal sound memory and SD-card support.

It can load up to three sounds simultaneously and includes the characteristic pitch, tone, half-speed and frame controls that make the Memotron such a useful modern take on the classic Mellotron concept.

This is a beautiful example of the M2K and would make an excellent addition to a studio, keyboard collection or any setup where authentic Mellotron sounds are desired without the maintenance and limitations of a vintage tape-based instrument.
