Ibanez BB9 Bottom Booster Pedal

The Ibanez BB9 Bottom Booster is a unique analog boost/overdrive pedal designed to add low-end punch, warmth, and body while pushing your amplifier or favorite drive pedals harder. Part of Ibanez’s well-regarded 9 Series, the BB9 is a great choice for players who want a bigger, fuller guitar sound without losing definition.

The BB9 features a simple three-control layout with Level, Tone, and Gain, making it easy to dial in everything from a subtle clean boost to a warmer, more driven sound. Its emphasis on the lower frequencies makes it particularly useful for fattening up single-coil pickups, adding weight to thinner guitar tones, or giving an already overdriven tube amp additional punch and sustain.

It also works extremely well when stacked with other overdrive and distortion pedals. Place it in front of another drive to add body and push the gain harder, or use it as a standalone boost to give your amp a thicker, more muscular response.
