Bosphorus 14” Hi Hats USED Cappadocia Avanos series 830/1036gr

This auction is for a pair of 14" hi hats, hand-hammered in Turkey by the Bosphorus company, Cappadocia Avanos series, 830gr over 1036g, with very minimum wear.  Note: the top logos of the top hi hat have been removed.  

These cymbals are from my own collection and are in EXCELLENT condition, just played a few times live. I have not used them in several years so it’s better off in the hands of somebody who will play them.

The Cappadocia now Avanos series is a sort of Turk series that has been lathed, triple hammered and then placed in the kiln again.  It is dark and dry but with a crisp “tchick” thanks to the nice weight distribution (thinner top and heavier bottom).  The hats are very present and with a unique vibe. I have used them very nicely in acoustic folk rock and singer songwriter settings, jazz too but when thinner hats would have getten lost in the mix.
