Up for sale is a clean vintage c. 1976 Ludwig 4-piece drum kit in original Blue Silk finish. 

Featuring 3-ply maple/poplar/maple shells with solid maple reinforcement rings and factory grey Granitone interior coating, this set delivers the big, warm, classic 1970s Ludwig sound. 

The shell pack features the oversized 24" bass drum from the catalog Pro Beat outfit paired with a versatile Big Beat tom configuration (12", 13", and 16"). 

Configuration & Serial Numbers:

• 14" x 24" Bass Drum (SN 1155257)

• 16" x 16" Floor Tom (SN 1153210)

• 9" x 13" Rack Tom (SN 1152546)

• 8" x 12" Rack Tom (SN 1152532)

General info & condition notes:

• Original Blue/Olive badges on all drums (7-digit 115xxxx range dating to c. 1976)
• No extra holes or modifications 
• Wrap is in great shape for its age, barely any scratches 
• Shells are structurally sound with clean bearing edges and original Granitone interiors.
• Original chrome hardware is intact, including classic lugs, double tom holder, curved bass drum spurs, and internal round-knob mufflers.

Minor imperfections to point out:

• Small rust spot on 12” batter hoop
• Dent on 13” reso hoop (note: I can swap this one with undamaged generic hoop if you wish, let me know PRIOR to purchasing) 
• Mild, barely noticeable, scratch on kick drum
• Slight wrap damage under reso floor tom hoop (not visible when assembled) 
• Some unoriginal parts - all heads, bass drum spur rubber feet, rack tom post wing nut
