The ICB620’s okoume body delivers a bright, solid tonal character with a focused low end and clear mids that help bass lines cut through dense mixes. Lightweight by design, okoume keeps the instrument comfortable and well balanced during long rehearsals or extended performances. The dramatic Iceman silhouette adds visual presence without compromising ergonomics, allowing the bass to sit naturally against the body. This combination of resonance, clarity and reduced weight makes the ICB620 responsive to a wide range of dynamics and playing approaches.

A strong three-piece maple neck provides enhanced stability and consistent performance, forming a reliable foundation for demanding styles. Paired with a panga panga fingerboard, the neck delivers tight low end, focused mids and a crisp top end that supports precise note definition across the register. Medium frets improve accuracy and control, making fast passages, slides and expressive vibrato feel natural and fluid. Together with the Ibanez All Access Neck Joint, this construction ensures smooth movement into higher registers and confident playability across the entire fingerboard.

Bartolini BH2 pickups give the ICB620 bass a powerful, balanced voice, combining a tight low end with punchy mids and a smooth, even response. Their dual-coil design and extended blade pole pieces maintain consistent string-to-string output regardless of playing position. Ibanez Custom Electronics with a two-band EQ provide straightforward, musical tone shaping, allowing players to quickly adjust bass and treble to suit different styles and environments. This pickup and electronics pairing delivers versatility and definition, from clean, articulate grooves to heavier, driven tones.

The MR5S bridge enhances feel and tonal consistency with adjustable string spacing of ±1.5 mm, letting players fine-tune the setup to match their technique and comfort preferences. Its solid construction promotes efficient string vibration transfer, supporting sustain and clarity. Schaller S-Locks strap pins add extra security, ensuring the bass stays firmly in place during energetic performances. Together, these components create a stable, dependable platform built to handle demanding stage conditions with confidence.

The Ibanez ICB620 electric bass guitar carries the bold spirit of the classic Iceman into a modern performance context. Its lightweight body, fast neck and ergonomic feel combine with articulate Bartolini pickups and flexible electronics to deliver a broad, stage-ready tonal range. Designed for bassists who want standout aesthetics without sacrificing comfort or control, the ICB620 offers a compelling blend of visual impact, versatility and contemporary playability.
