Slingerland Rack Tom 1980 - Black
Vintage Slingerland 12" x 8" rack tom in great condition.
This is a double-headed wood-shell tom with the classic Slingerland Niles, Illinois oval badge, serial number 493534, and black wrap finish. It has the shorter Slingerland-style lugs and original-style top and bottom hoops.
The drum is in great overall condition for its age. The wrap presents well and the shell and hardware are clean. Please look through all photos for the exact cosmetic condition.
Based on the badge, serial number, and construction, I believe this drum dates to the late 1970s / early 1980s.
A great addition to a vintage Slingerland kit or a cool standalone rack tom for a custom setup.
