Fender Custom Shop '60s Bass VI Journeyman Relic – Aged Shell Pink – 2023 – Excellent Condition

Up for sale is my 2023 Fender Custom Shop '60s Bass VI Journeyman Relic, finished in a beautiful Faded/Aged Shell Pink.

This guitar is in Excellent condition and has been extremely well cared for. The aging and wear seen on the guitar are part of Fender's original Journeyman Relic treatment.

I purchased this because I absolutely loved the instrument, but the reality is that I simply never play it. I'm a little sad to sell it, but I'd much rather see it go to someone who will actually play and enjoy it.

Condition

Excellent condition.

The guitar has spent the overwhelming majority of its time safely stored in its case and has seen very little actual play.

As this is a factory Journeyman Relic, the intentional finish wear and aging are original to the guitar and should not be confused with player damage. Please review the photos closely for the best representation of its condition.

Tone & Playability

The Bass VI is a unique instrument that bridges the gap between guitar and bass. Its extended low register works extremely well for bass lines, low-register riffs, chords, melodic passages, ambient textures and studio layering.

The three Custom Shop '62 Jaguar Flat Magnet pickups provide excellent clarity and definition across the instrument's range, while the 7.25" radius, Medium Vintage frets and '60s Oval C neck give it a distinctly vintage Fender feel.

Please note: There is a small residue/transfer mark inside the hardshell case where the bridge contacts the case when closed. This appears to be from the bridge/hardware and its contact with the interior of the case during storage. It is shown clearly in the photos and does not affect the guitar or its functionality in any way.

Why I'm Selling

There's nothing wrong with the guitar—I simply don't play it.

It has spent most of its time in the case since I purchased it, and I'd rather see an instrument this special go to someone who will actually enjoy it.

It's an incredible Fender Custom Shop Bass VI in Excellent condition, and while I'm a little sad to see it go, I'll be much happier knowing it's being played rather than sitting in my collection.
