Up for sale is a stunning, 100% all-original 1966 Fender Musicmaster in its original Olympic Whitefinish. This isn't just a great piece of Fender history; it’s an incredible player with an undeniable vibe.

The Look & Condition

The standout feature of this guitar is its phenomenal natural aging. The original nitrocellulose lacquer has developed heavy, incredibly uniform vertical checking running entirely across the body. It gives the guitar a beautiful, authentic "closet classic" character that you simply cannot replicate.

Cosmetically, it is in great vintage shape for a 60-year-old instrument. There is minimal, typical paint chipping localized around the heel pocket, but no structural issues, cracks, or modifications whatsoever.

Playability & Setup

This is the desirable 24-inch scale version, making it incredibly comfortable to play compared to the cramped 22.5-inch student variants.

Frets: The original frets are on the lower side, as is typical for 1960s Fenders, but they are level, clean, and play beautifully up and down the neck with no dead spots.

Setup: It is currently set up, intonated, and playing smoothly with a fresh set of .11 gauge strings, giving it a punchy, resonant acoustic snap and excellent tuning stability.

Originality & Case

This guitar is a true survivor. The single-coil pickup is clear, articulate, and full of that classic vintage Fender chime. All electronics, hardware, tuners, and plastics are original to the guitar. It ships safely inside its original 1960s hardshell case, which is also in solid, functional condition.

Don't miss a chance to own an unmodified, highly playable piece of CBS-era Fender history with world-class natural relic aesthetics.
