Orville by Gibson Les Paul Junior – Made in Japan | Seymour Duncan P-90

For sale is an Orville by Gibson Les Paul Junior, made in Japan under Gibson’s official Japanese licensing program.

These instruments were produced for the Japanese market with many of the visual and construction cues associated with their Gibson counterparts, including the classic Gibson-style open-book headstock. Production has long since ended, and clean examples have become increasingly difficult to find.

This particular guitar is in excellent overall condition. The body shows only light surface wear with no major dents or structural damage. The neck, headstock, and fingerboard are also very clean, and the frets show only minimal wear with plenty of life remaining.

The original-style single P-90 format has been retained, but the pickup has been upgraded to a Seymour Duncan P-90. The result is exactly what a Les Paul Junior should deliver: immediate attack, strong midrange presence, excellent touch response, and the raw simplicity that makes the Junior format such an effective rock instrument.

The hardware shows some natural age-related wear, including light oxidation and minor marks around the bridge and posts, but everything functions properly.

The guitar has been inspected and set up and is ready to play.
