The RODE NT1-A is a large-diaphragm cardioid condenser mic that has become an affordable industry standard, serving up a huge dynamic range from 20Hz to 20kHz, a high SPL handling of 137dB, and warm, rich tone. A low self-noise level of a mere 5dBA makes it one of the quieter microphones on the market today, making it the perfect mic for virtually any recording situation, like vocals, guitar, and percussion.
