Fender Telecaster 'Collector' model CTL-50M (C = Collector, M = Maple). Also known as: TL-72-55 Ash Nat.
Made in Japan in 1985 at the famous Fujigen factory for Fender.
Body with nitrocellulose lacquer finish. A "post-JV" era instrument.
*Hand-selected and imported from Japan by us*
In very good overall condition for its age; shows light signs of use, with frets also in excellent condition: 8/10! (See photos for details).
Incredible tone—warm, powerful, and precise, with a distinct 'pop/rock' character. Excellent build quality—an instrument worthy of the JV series (1982–84).
Key differences between this model and the TL-52 reissue include the headstock logo, sealed tuners (instead of vintage-style ones), and a rosewood skunk stripe on the back of the neck.
