Schecter Hellraiser Extreme-5 Left-Handed Electric Bass in Crimson Red Burst Satin

The Hellraiser Extreme-5 LH delivers a lightweight, ergonomic neck-through design that sits comfortably in extended playing sessions, with a thin 'C' profile neck that accommodates both aggressive technique and precise fingerwork. The 35-inch scale and ultra-access body cutaway make this left-handed instrument equally suited to studio work and live performance. Finished in striking Crimson Red Burst Satin with black chrome hardware, this bass combines aggressive aesthetics with refined playability.

Playability & Construction

Built with a neck-through mahogany body topped in quilted maple, the Hellraiser Extreme-5 LH achieves both structural integrity and visual impact. The Maple/Walnut multi-ply neck paired with an ebony fretboard and 24 X-Jumbo frets on a 16-inch radius provides fast response and consistent intonation across the full range. The thin 'C' neck profile—measuring .787" at the first fret and .866" at the 12th—allows for comfortable thumb positioning and efficient hand transitions without sacrificing stability.

Tone & Electronics

Dual EMG 40TW pickups deliver articulate, punchy tone with exceptional clarity across the five-string spectrum, powered by an 18-volt battery system for enhanced headroom and dynamic range. The Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut and Schecter custom bass bridge coupled with Grover tuners ensure reliable tuning stability and optimal sustain, while the MOP binding with multi-ply detailing and MOP Gothic cross inlays add distinctive visual character.
