Overview

The Shure MXC406/MS is a 6" (15 cm) mini-shotgun (lobar) gooseneck microphone for the MXC and MXCW digital conference systems. Its narrow 100° lobar polar pattern provides significantly greater rejection of ambient noise than standard cardioid or supercardioid microphones — ideal for noisy conference environments where maximum isolation of the individual speaker is required.

Key Features

  • Lobar (mini-shotgun) polar pattern: 100° pickup angle — narrower than supercardioid for maximum ambient rejection
  • 6" compact gooseneck: Short length for streamlined appearance in formal chambers
  • Bi-color LED ring: Indicates microphone active/mute status
  • MXC/MXCW compatible: Direct connection to MXC630 and MXCW640 conference units
  • CommShield RF filtering: Rejects interference from wireless devices
