The MetroLine Modern 5 is Sadowsky's 24-fret five-string. This Special Edition pairs curly sinker redwood with red alder under a Natural High Polish finish, on a maple neck with a morado board, and dresses it all in gold hardware. Passive Sadowsky soapbars run into the active Sadowsky 2-band preamp. Every piece of redwood figures differently, so what you see in the photos is this exact bass. It weighs 3.65 kg and ships with its Certificate of Authenticity signed by Roger Sadowsky. In stock at Bass Freaks, boutique Sadowsky dealer in Europe.
