Here for sale we have an Epiphone Les Paul Classic T in Midnight Sapphire finish. Made in China in 2014, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with a carved Flamed Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Nickel hardware including Min-ETune robotic tuning system, LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge and StopBar tailpiece. The pickups installed are a pair of Epiphone Ceramic PRO humbuckers which are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, and independent volume and tone controls. 

The Maple neck plays very well, with the 1960s SlimTaper D profile feeling incredibly comfortable in the hand, providing a substantial playing experience without being at all cumbersome. The gloss finish to the rear creates a slick feeling in the hand and ensures that navigation of the 24.75” scale is a smooth and breezy affair. The traditional 12” fingerboard radius is as practical as ever, whilst its Rosewood construction provides a smooth and durable playing surface right the way up the register. The Medium Jumbo frets provide a rock-solid playing surface whilst enhancing the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques. 

The Min-ETune robotic tuning system delivers fantastic convenience, with standard and alternate tunings ready at the touch of a button, along with the option for user programmable tunings. This model features the robotic tuners the year before Gibson rolled them out on all of their guitars, almost as a test run. 

The pair of Epiphone Ceramic PRO humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied tones, just as you would expect from a Les Paul. The neck pickup is warm and round, perfect for solo sounds or shimmering clean sounds. The bridge pickup is of course brighter, and offers a high output tone that drives the front end of an amp beautifully for saturated rhythm parts.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition. Mild indentation is present to the front face tip of the headstock, these have caused mild delamination of the finish. Light to mild scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can be seen under direct light.

Neck: Overall good condition. A previous break has been repaired to both sides of the neck extending from the nut to the 4th/5th frets, this has been stress tested and presents no structural concerns. With the previous repair some of the finish has been removed exposing the wood beneath, this can be felt lightly in the playing position.Moderate scratching is present to the rear of the neck treble side of the 11th fret, this can be felt in the playing position. Light scratching is present to the fingerboard across the register, these can not be felt in the playing position and can be seen under close scrutiny.

Body: Overall very good condition. Moderate discoloration of the finish is present to the front face, with this some of the original finish can be seen to the treble side of the pickups where the pickguard used to be. Two screw holes are present where the pickguard used to be. Light scratching is present to all aspects of the body, these can be seen under direct light.

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

Hardware: Overall very good condition. Light tarnishing is present to the bridge and tailpiece, this is consistent with past use. Two of the original control knobs have been replaced by a previous owner, the originals are not included. The pickguard is missing from a previous owner, with this the neck pickup ring has also been replaced. G-Force battery included.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
