TC Electronic SCF Stereo Chorus Flanger – Vintage AC-Powered Model

Widely regarded as a professional-grade modulation pedal, the SCF continues to be found in studio setups and professional pedalboards decades after its introduction.

This particular unit is a vintage model without the “OF DENMARK” marking beneath the TC Electronic logo and features a hardwired AC power cable. Following the earlier “OF DENMARK” versions, this generation combines the distinctive analog character of the classic SCF with proven reliability.

The SCF offers three modulation modes: an exceptionally clear and transparent analog Chorus, an expressive Pitch Modulation mode capable of pronounced pitch movement, and a rich, powerful Flanger.

It also features an adjustable input preamp gain and an Overload LED, allowing the input level to be optimized for a variety of instruments, including guitar, bass, and keyboards.

Staff Recommendation

This is a vintage, hardwired AC-powered SCF from the period without the “OF DENMARK” marking.

Its exceptionally low-noise performance and deep, rich analog modulation give it a character distinct from later adapter-powered versions. With studio-quality chorus, flanger, and pitch modulation in a single unit, it remains an excellent choice for players looking for a versatile classic modulation pedal.
