The PS-2A combines a true reactive load with a full 50-watt all-tube power section (2x 6L6, 1x 12AX7), letting you push a high-powered tube amp into its natural sweet spot and attenuate down to whisper-quiet volume without losing tone, dynamics, or feel — none of the flat, choked character you get from a resistive attenuator. It also works in reverse as a tube power booster for low-wattage amps, preamps, or modelers.
