I found a gorgeous R6, while on vacation- for the first time in years and years, but when you're a Roman and you're in Rome heheh. So here I am, feet deep in the sand with a warm ale in hand on Cape Cod, the kids are splashing in the water, the wife is doing wife things, so I figure I'll check some local listings? I mean, I check this area on the daily anyways but sometimes things don't show up. Then I see this dimly lit Les Paul on a wall and there's something about this one- so I send the message. The next thing you know, before the sand has even gotten into the potato chips, I'm on the phone with the guy. The guy is on the golfers course, so he say's something about 'can meet tomorrow in Boston'.

Already we have the wife, the dog, two kids in the middle seats, suitcases and pillows etc, a Les Paul Studio I picked up outside a Macy's that I lined up on the trip south in the hatchback, and now I'm meeting a guy in downtown Boston with Gibsons that he used as wall art in a high end office space. The next thing you know we have a guitar case seatbuckled into the middle seat and guitar cases up to the ceiling in the back with the dog somewhere in the mix.

That's what I call a relaxing vacation.

Now as far as this R6 is concerned- check out the fingerboard on this baby! The last two pics show this 3 dimensional deep shadow rift of grain that runs down the whole fretboard, really unique fingerprint identifier on this one. These R6's are some of my favorite sounding and playing Les Pauls of all time, the P-90's are Gibson tone from way back and are as meaty or as articulate as you want with just the volume and tone pots making the difference. Condition on this one is exceptional. Case candy has become non existant over time, no COA. Price reflects this. Don't let that freak you out, this is an awesome Les Paul!
