RME Fireface UFX USB/Firewire Audio Interface - READ DESCRIPTION
1st generation RME Fireface UFX. German-built, rock solid, still 100% supported by RME with drivers and firmware. These units can suffer from power supply failure; this one had the power supply replaced by Synthax (RME's official US distributor) in August 2026 and is ready for many more years of use.
NOTE: LINE INPUTS 5-6 ON THE REAR ARE DEAD AND DO NOT FUNCTION. I asked RME if they could fix it, but apparently the parts are no longer available. This is factored into the price, and returns will not be accepted because of this issue.
Otherwise, this unit is in perfect condition cosmetically and functionally. All LEDs, knobs and buttons work, all pixels on the display are perfect. This is a chance to own a serious, high channel count interface that sounds just as good as its modern counterparts at an affordable price.
