Harmony H1270 Sovereign 1960s 12-String - Natural
No stock photos . All shown photos are showing the actual instrument for sale.
A beautiful 1960s Harmony Sovereign 12-string with a wonderful patina. Jimmy Page, Rory Gallagher, and others played this model, even using it for recordings that have since become legendary.
This model from the American manufacturer Harmony thus achieved true cult status.
The instrument offered here is in good, playable condition, featuring a comfortable medium action. A used black soft case is included.
The following work was carried out on the guitar by another luthier at the owner's request:
- Neck reset
- Refret
- Installation of an LR Baggs pickup
- Neck re-profiled to achieve a flatter C-shape
- Modified string spacing for improved playability
It is a true rarity in this regard, as few examples of this guitar exist that have undergone such extensive restoration work.
The installed truss rod is tightened but cannot be adjusted further in its current state.
