Schecter Stiletto Studio-6 FL guitar in Honey Satin

Schecter Stiletto Studio-6 FL Bass in Honey Satin

The Stiletto Studio-6 FL is a professional fretless 6-string bass engineered for players who demand ergonomic precision and expressive tonal control. Its neck-thru construction, thin 'C' profile, and svelte body contours create an instrument that sits naturally in hand while delivering the articulate voice and upper-fret accessibility essential to fretless work across funk, jazz, fusion, and contemporary styles. The figured bubinga top in honey satin finish pairs visual sophistication with muscular, responsive tone.

Playability & Construction

The neck-thru mahogany body with ultra access design provides both structural rigidity and comfortable upper-fret reach across all six strings. A maple/walnut multi-ply neck reinforced with carbon fiber rods resists warping while preserving the responsiveness critical to fretless playing, supported by dual 2-way adjustable truss rods that give you full control over neck relief. The thin 'C' neck profile measures 0.787" at the 1st fret and 0.866" at the 12th fret, while the Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut at 2.125" width and 16" fretboard radius ensure clean intonation and smooth playability across all six strings.

Tone & Electronics

Dual EMG 45HZ active pickups paired with a 3-band EMG active EQ, master volume, and blend control deliver articulate low-end punch, singing mids, and controlled high-end presence without noise or signal degradation. The 18-volt active electronics system provides the headroom and responsiveness to dial in everything from aggressive percussive attack to warm, woody tones, while the Diamond Custom Bass bridge couples directly to the body for maximum sustain and clarity across the low B string and fundamental frequencies.
