The Digitech DHP-55 is becoming increasingly rare these days. Dubbed the "Poor Man's Eventide", this unit is known for it's pitch shifting / harmonizing algorithms designed and built by IVL Technologies.

This rack does much more than just harmonizing. Other effects include: Flanger, chorus, delay, EQ, reverb, multitap delay, sampler, chord shifter, dynamic filter, distortion and speaker emulator, etc. Can be run mono or stereo.

It also uses the same pitch shifting algorithms as the infamous Digitech Whammy pedal, the IPS-33, IPS-33B and DHP-33, but you can have 5 simultaneous harmonized notes with this unit! The tracking is excellent and the shifted notes are clear.

Steve Vai and Billy Corgan have both used this unit in the past.
