1966 Martin D-28 Natural
Body: Brazilian Rosewood back and sides with Sitka Spruce top with Natural finish.
Neck: Mahogany neck with Ebony fingerboard, 16” radius, 25.4” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 20 frets (14 clear of the body), pearl-dot position marker inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Original Grover tuning keys, non-original Ebony bridge, Bone nut.
Modifications: The bridge has been replaced and the guitar has been re-fretted.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition for the age of the instrument. There are no cracks on the guitar and the original finish has no checking. It has light surface scratches on the top and back of the body. There is some light rash on the back of the guitar (pictured) The back of the neck is clean, and the newer frets show very light wear. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been set-up low and comfortable.
Weight: 4 lbs. 12 oz.
Case: This guitar ships with the original hardshell case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
