Up for grabs we hahe here for sale and quite honestly thr pinnacle of engineering back in the 80’s! This is a 1985 Steinberger XL-2 in all of its glory. This was and still really is the bass to have for professional musicians. These were made of a fully composite material that resonates exactly like wood but without the worry for adjustments as it’s not changed by the elements.
This is hands down one of the most comfortable and ergonomic basses I’ve ever layed my hands on. Its mind blowing just how perfect this thing feels and with no truss rod! The neck is ridiculously straight and plays effortlessly. Electronics have been tested and work as they should.
Cosmetically in very clean condition with only some pick scratches on the front from normal use and some scratches on the back. Some deeper scrapes on the bottom where it appeaea to have been laid on something a bit harsher. Unfortunately this is missing the battery door cover but the battery fits snug and doesn’t fall out even with use.
