Walrus didn't just tweak the original ACS1 for round two — they doubled it. Three amps became six, six cab IRs became twelve, and the old toggle switches gave way to an OLED screen that actually shows you what you're doing.
Three amps chase familiar vintage ground: Fullerton pulls from a Fender Deluxe Reverb, London channels a Marshall Bluesbreaker, Dartford leans into Vox AC30 jangle. Three more go modern and loud: Citrus (Orange Rockerverb), Tread (Mesa Dual Rectifier), and Red (Peavey 5150). Tone Factor built the cab IRs for the vintage trio, York Audio built them for the high-gain side, and you get twelve total to mix and match however you want.
Run it in stereo, and you're not stuck with one amp — put Fullerton on the left, Dartford on the right, and blend the cabs across both for tones a single amp can't touch. There's a noise gate for keeping the high-gain models quiet, a boost switch that adds up to 4dB of extra gain on tap, and the ability to bypass the cab IR or the amp model independently if you're running into a real cabinet or outboard IR loader.
Nine onboard presets, split across three banks of three, cover a full set without needing a laptop nearby, and you can load your own cabinet IRs or update firmware straight through Walrus's site over USB-C.
