Schecter CV-5 Electric Bass Gloss Natural

The CV-5 presents a slim, fast neck that feels immediately responsive under your fingers, paired with a balanced body designed for extended playing sessions without fatigue. This Indonesian-made five-string bass combines refined playability with versatile electronics, delivering clarity across rock, funk, jazz, and alternative contexts. The gloss natural finish reveals the instrument's ash body while the dual Schecter Diamond J-Bucker pickups generate tonal range from articulate highs to resonant lows.

Playability & Construction

The 35-inch scale and thin 'C' neck profile create a fast, comfortable playing surface, while the maple neck with carbon fiber reinforcement rods provides stability and sustain. Twenty-two narrow X-jumbo frets on a 10-inch fretboard radius facilitate both aggressive picking and fluid finger-style technique, and the Graph Tech XL Ivory Tusq nut at 1.771 inches is precisely sized for a five-string setup.

Tone & Electronics

Dual Schecter Diamond J-Bucker pickups paired with a 3-way series-split-parallel switch unlock multiple tonal configurations, while independent volume and tone controls allow precise sculpting of your sound. The S-Tek bridge and chrome hardware ensure stable tuning and reliable transmission of frequencies across the full spectrum.
