1979 Sonor Acryl Champion 6-Piece Drum Kit Red

Excellent condition 1979 Sonor Acryl Champion 6-Piece drum kit in red. A true holy grail piece for any Sonor lover. this example appears to be all original, down to the original Sonor tom mount! This example also comes in the hard to find original red color way, complete with the matching red snare drum. These kits remain to be some of the hardest to find in Europe, and even more so in the states in this condition. Sizes are listed below! Outside of the characteristic loud and resonant character of these acryl drums, this kick drum has a phenomenal punch in the low-mids, with an excellent pop that really projects under microphones, or in a live scenario. Additionally, all of the toms hold tune very well, and the tension rods spin smoothly. The tom mount has no issues or significant pitting that would affect the way the toms sit when mounted. The bass drum legs, as well as the floor tom legs are also in excellent condition. All the original Sonor badges are also in excellent condition. The current resonant side bass drum head that is fitted to the drum is not original, but looks very nice on this drum kit. The snare drum throw is also in good condition, and functions very smoothly. The entire drum kit is very clean, as it has been freshly wiped down, and has very minimal pitting as pictured. One of the floor toms has a hand sized crack in the shell, but does not affect the tuning or playability of the drum whatsoever. This is quite common with these models, and is not moving whatsoever. While the entire kit is for sale, I am also willing to sell one of the additional floor toms separately ($499), but would prefer to keep the kit fully together.
