DW built this as a unique artist kit for Deen Castronovo of Journey, using different maple than the numbered run (which is why it never received a Neil Peart-signed certificate).It has the full R30 aesthetic: Black Mirra flake finish, holographic Rush icons (Starman, skull, Presto rabbit, Inukshuk, NP, R30), red pinstriping, and 24k gold-plated DW 9000 hardware.Provenance: I have Deen Castronovo's purchase order for this exact kit, along with video of him playing it live (singing Journey songs at a local concert). CONDITIONPlayed by Deen, not a museum piece. Shells and holographic graphics look excellent. Gold plating is bright, with some typical wear/light pitting on the hoops and pedal footboard.
