Legendary Panning Stereo Digital Delay from Boss utilised by Radiohead on OK Computer and comes with a ultra small footprint Tap Tempo pedal unlatching switch to adjust delay repeat time whilst playing. This pedal also is fitted with a high cut switch to darken down repeats from the output jack to make a more analogue sound, switch it back to return it to stock. This is the first compact delay with Tap Tempo as follows: Mode 8: quarter note, 9: Eighth Note dotted, 10: Eighth Note and 11: Quarter Note Triplet. Very useful rhythm settings. Also this is the only compact Delay pedal with Reverse (mode 6) delay Boss made that includes the original (dry) sound with the reverse wet sample. This can yield really cool delay sounds when Panning in stereo. The sampled delay (2000ms) is also from a considerably better chip than later models which does not break up when adjusting the "D. Time" knob and acts like a cool pitch shift. Mode 5 is the obligatory Hold function, Mode 7 The E/D mode outputs your Dry signal from one channel and the Wet signal from the other, making for more sonic fun to explore. This pedal is one that has remained on many Guitarists effect boards, despite the release of newer models, since its release, the DD-5 is a pretty straightforward delay, with a couple of cool options and a ton of useable sounds.
