The Vintage Reserve at  Pristine Auctions is proud to present this awesome 1971 Hiwatt DR103 Custom 100 Watt Electric guitar Amplifier.  Serial #2072 puts it to 1971.   This legendary amplifier was used so much in recording studios in the 1970's   that we can hear this absolutely iconic amplifier on many of our favourite recordings.     This is a rare  vintage offering from Hiwatt and this one sounds as good as it looks.   It is an absolute wall of vintage sound.   This amplifier is oozing with vintage magic  and vibe.    Prior to coming to Pristine Auctions this amplifier was owned by Falcon Productions,  the Sound Company that Produced Rock Legends Guitar Cruise years ago. This Amplifier was used  as part of the Back Line of the cruise ship.    It has just been thoroughly gone over by our amp tech and is ready for the stage or studio.  Cosmetically this Amplifier is in  Very Good/Toured condition.  Cosmetically this amplifier is pretty clean.  There is some wear on the tolex as pictured.  There have been a few capacitors that have been changed and the international voltage regulator removed with a permanent grounded ac Chord installed.   This Amplifer is an absolute wall of sound and sounds absolutely incredible.    Will be professionally packed and fully insured.
