Schecter P-5 Electric Bass in 3 Tone Sunburst

The Schecter P-5 delivers a comfortable, fast playing experience with its thin "C" neck profile and 35" extended scale that accommodates five-string bass work with authority. The 3 Tone Sunburst finish presents a classic aesthetic while the bolt-on construction ensures solid sustain and resonance. This is a versatile instrument designed for players who demand responsive feel and dependable electronics.

Playability & Feel

The thin "C" neck shape at the 1st fret (.787") transitions smoothly through the 12th fret (.866"), providing consistent comfort across the entire playing range. Combined with the 16" fretboard radius and 21 Narrow Extra Jumbo frets, the P-5 offers both precision and speed; the Graph Tech XL Ivory Tusq nut at 1.771" wide maintains clarity and sustain across all five strings, while offset/reverse dot inlays ensure quick navigation in low-light situations.

Tone & Electronics

The Schecter USA MonsterTone-P pickup paired with simple volume and tone controls delivers focused, punchy bass character without unnecessary complexity. The Schecter High Mass Bridge with string-through construction maximizes sustain and harmonic content, while Schecter Light-Weight tuners keep head weight minimal and maintain stable tuning across extended sessions.
