A Fender Japan ST57-53 Stratocaster from the highly regarded Fujigen era.

Based on the serial number, this example dates from 1993–1994.

The ST57-53 is a Japanese-made Stratocaster inspired by Fender’s classic 1950s models and was manufactured by Fujigen, one of the most sought-after manufacturers from the Fender Japan era.

This particular guitar has been fitted with a 3-ply black pickguard, giving it a distinctive appearance somewhat reminiscent of a 1970s Stratocaster.

The tremolo block has also been replaced with a slightly thinner, American Standard-style type, resulting in a somewhat cleaner and more focused sound compared with the original configuration.

The bridge saddles have also been replaced, and several other components may have been changed over the years. For this reason, the guitar is offered at an accessible price.

It would make an excellent platform for further modifications and customization, or simply a dependable player’s guitar in its current configuration.

Whether you are looking for a Stratocaster as a modification base or simply a practical Japanese-made instrument, this is a great option for players of all levels, from beginners to experienced guitarists.

The guitar has been fully serviced by our in-house repair department.
