This would be a fine shell for a refinishing project or to toss with a blue and silver duco set. Someone did a custom refinish but it looks nice. Edges are factory and in nice shape. No gouges or any issues. Modern heads fit on both sides but you have to give it a gentle nudge on the batter side to get it on and it will spin but it takes some muscle. Reso side fits easy and spins. Keep in mind this drum never had wrap on so if you wrap it modern heads wont fit. Possibly classic fit would but it would be best to leave it as is or strip the paint To the maple exterior.

The drum originally had a 2 hole clip on Slingerland type mount and so one put a traditional diamond plate on. if you put one of those or a set o matic on it etc it will hide those two old holes. There is some felt residue from the felt gasket that was on the drum. No separation of the rings etc. All in all a great player shell for a project.
