The Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty Premium Select 7-String in Ka'anapali Dream is an elite, neck-through extended-range instrument built in the USA to deliver unrivaled ergonomic comfort, tonal versatility, and effortless high-speed performance. Designed in collaboration with progressive metal icon John Petrucci, this 7-string model pairs a dazzling high-gloss finish with top-tier tonewoods, custom electronics, and an acoustic-electric dual-pickup system.

The Majesty's innovative construction centers around a Honduran mahogany neck-through design flanked by lightweight alder wings and topped with a thick maple cap. Finished entirely in high-gloss polyester, this body structure provides incredible sustain, seamless upper-fret access, and rich resonance. Its Honduran mahogany neck is fitted with an ebony fingerboard, featuring 24 medium jumbo stainless steel frets, eye-catching Atlante Majesty inlays, a wide 1-7/8" nut width, and a flat 17" radius across a standard 25.5" scale length for effortless bending and precise 7-string lead execution.

Sonically, the Majesty Premium Select 7-String is equipped with custom passive DiMarzio humbuckers—a Rainmaker 7 in the neck position and a Dreamcatcher 7 in the bridge—paired with Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles integrated into the tremolo bridge. Powered by a custom Music Man active preamp, the controls offer a push/push volume for an active gain boost, a push/push tone control for custom coil configurations, a 3-way magnetic pickup toggle, and a 3-way piezo/magnetic selector switch. This setup unlocks everything from high-output lead tones to pristine acoustic voicings, complete with a push/push mono/stereo mode switch in the back cavity.

The hardware package centers around a Custom John Petrucci Music Man floating tremolo made of plated, hardened steel, providing smooth pitch manipulation and precise return-to-pitch stability. Complemented by Schaller M6-IND locking tuners and factory-strung with Ernie Ball RPS 10 Slinkys with an added .056 low B string, the Majesty Premium Select 7-String stands as a benchmark for modern 7-string engineering.
