MTD Kingston Z5 (UPGRADED)
This Seafoam Green Kingston Z5 (v2) was upgraded at our Kingston, NY factory with proprietary Hipshot USA hardware and Bartolini USA electronics. The electronics are the same setup we use in our Short Scale and 17mm USA Super models. The pickups are custom P2 dual coils with 3-way switching for Parallel, Single-Coil, and Series configurations. Tonally, this bass ranges from fat, aggressive, and mid-forward in Series mode to crisper, cleaner, and more traditional tones in Single-Coil and parallel modes. The preamp features our custom Super voicing, with a 3-band EQ, passive tone control, Push/Pull volume for Active/Passive operation, and a Push/Pull mid pot for selectable 400/800Hz mid frequencies. The EQ provides +/-15dB of boost/cut.
