Fender Telecaster 1967 Blonde
1967 holds a very unique position in Fender's history.
The exterior completely transitioned to the CBS logo.
The interior retained strong traces of pre-CBS specifications.
The materials, finish, and precision were still at the older standards.
This year possesses a "dual nature" not found in other eras.
It's a guitar from the eve of the full-scale shift to poly finishes, changes in wood selection standards, automation of processing, and changes in parts supply seen from 1968 onwards. It's sometimes considered "the only era with the CBS logo that possesses the pre-CBS sound."
More detailed information is available on our online store.
