This is a vintage 1984 Hofner 500/1 1964-1984 Violin "Beatle Bass" to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Beatles arriving in the USA. The bass has all of the specs you want from a Hofner bass; the hollow construction, easy-playing narrow neck and their electronics/pickups. The anniversary truss rod cover seems to have been replaced with a standard cover over the years. The bass has some finish cracks that aren't structural but do run the length of the body, and there's some separation on the binding in the treble side waist.
