The Martin 00-18 blends traditional tone with modern playability, ideal for fingerpicking and detailed styles. Crafted from spruce and mahogany with X-bracing, it delivers rich, authentic sound across genres. Upgraded with nickel hardware, a bone nut, and compensated saddle, this guitar offers both classic design and enhanced comfort for serious players.
From Martin:
"The Martin 00-18 is a trusted classic, beloved for its balanced and timeless tone. Its smaller, comfortable Grand Concert body size delivers a focused voice, with clear trebles and warm bass, making it perfect for intricate fingerstyle playing and dynamic, nuanced strumming. Handcrafted with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, the 00-18 offers a bright treble response, punchy midrange, and the dependable projection players have relied on for generations. Its satin neck with a Golden Era (GE) Modified Low Oval profile, high-performance taper, and 24.9" scale length provides unmatched comfort, while ebony details, including the bridge, bridge pins, and fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, enhance its iconic design. Complete with aging toner on its top, black binding, and nickel open gear tuners, the 00-18 is a guitar you can trust to unleash the artist within."
