2026 F Bass BN5 Deluxe Roasted Ash Active 5-String Bass w Birds-Eye Maple Fretboard ~ Natural Matte

There are basses that quietly sit in the rhythm section… and then there’s this thing, which appears to have been carved out of a very expensive piece of lumber and given permission to rearrange the furniture. This brand-new, unplayed F Bass BN5 Deluxe combines a killer Roasted Ash body, ridiculous Birds-Eye Maple fingerboard, matching ash pickups and headstock, and enough switching options to keep a bass player occupied while the guitarist is still deciding which overdrive pedal to use. And yes, it has five strings—because apparently four was simply not enough authority.

Condition & What’s Included

Brand new, unplayed and ready for somebody else to be the first person to put fingerprints on it. Includes the F Bass warranty, case candy, control-layout information and the F Bass Deluxe Brown Vegan Leather Soft Case—which is so nice it looks like the bass should be paying rent to live in it.

The Natural Matte Roasted Ash lets every bit of that wild grain show through, while the Birds-Eye Maple fingerboard looks like Mother Nature got bored and started doodling. Even the pickups get matching wood covers, because apparently F Bass looked at ordinary plastic pickups and said, “Absolutely not.”

Then there are the electronics. Two 3-way pickup switches give you single-coil, series humbucking and parallel humbucking operation for each pickup. Add separate pickup volumes, active/passive operation and boost-only bass, mid and treble controls, and you have enough tonal combinations to cover everything from polite fingerstyle to “Excuse me, could somebody please remove the guitarist from my frequency range?”

It’s brand new. It’s unplayed. It’s Canadian-built bass-guitar excess executed beautifully.

And at 9.5 pounds, there’s even enough of it to remind the drummer who actually runs the band.

Whoever brings this baby home is going to be completely STOKED!
