You won’t need to worry about running out of options with the SPD-SX. Its boasts 1,550 onboard samples and 200 preset kits so you can hit the ground running. You can also even sort and search your sounds with sample tags so you can spend less time scrolling and more time rocking. You won’t need to worry about storage space either. The SPD-SX comes with 32 GB of internal memory and holds almost 44 hours of 48 kHz/ 16-bit stereo audio. You can even load in WAV, AIFF, and MP3 files with varying bit rates that will be automatically be converted to the SPD-SX’s native format.

Full Expressive Control

You can add even more playing possibilities with expanded trigger inputs. You can play with up to 19 surfaces once you max out all pads, footswitch inputs, and external triggers. You can connect an expression pedal for real-time effects control and you can even add snare and kick pads to create a mini drum kit. Whatever you choose, the options are limitless.

Endless Effects

The SPD-SX comes with an incredibly vast selection of high-quality effects for you to explore. You can assign reverb, delay, and even distortion to any pad or external trigger input within each kit. Compression, EQ, and other effect options are also available for you to process the overall output. If you want to make sure your kick doesn’t get buried in the mix, sidechain compression is included too.
