Rare 1st Generation Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute – Made in Japan – Vintage Natural – 4-Piece Shell Pack

Selling my early-generation Yamaha Maple Custom Absolute 4-piece shell pack in Vintage Natural. These are the highly regarded Made in Japan, gold-badge Maple Custom Absolutes with Yamaha's Air Seal System, original Absolute-style lugs and DynaHoops.

This generation was produced approximately 1998–2004, prior to the later Absolute-series updates.

The ABD1022T is Yamaha's deeper Turbo bass drum. The kit features the desirable one rack/two floor tom configuration (12/14/16), with all three toms designed to be mounted.

The kit is in good vintage/used condition with excellent gloss and beautiful maple grain. Chrome hardware is also in good overall condition.

There are scratches, scuffs, small marks and normal wear from age and use. The bass drum has more noticeable finish wear/chipping on the batter-side bass drum hoop, shown in the photos. The drums have not been refinished or cosmetically restored. Please review photos for condition.

Hard cases for the bass drum, 12x8 tom and 16x14 tom, plus a soft case for the 14x12 tom, included free.

The cases show significant touring wear and some damage but remain functional and fully protect the shells during transport and storage.
