The KeyStep mk2 starts as a 32-note Slimkey keyboard and quickly reveals itself as something considerably more ambitious. A built-in sequencer, arpeggiator, and generative mutation tools sit underneath every performance, ready to take that riff you just played once and turn it into something that evolves on its own. An OLED display, clickable encoder, and full RGB feedback keep every edit fast and readable, so the idea stays in motion while you shape it.
Connectivity covers the full spectrum of modern hybrid setups. CV/Gate, MIDI DIN, Sync I/O, and USB-C keep modular systems, vintage hardware, and DAWs all talking to each other and locked to the same clock, without the adapter math that usually comes with bridging multiple generations of gear. Whatever your setup looks like, the KeyStep mk2 sits comfortably at its center.
Performance is where its depth really surfaces.
