The TAMA Stagestar ST52H5C is a complete 5-piece acoustic drum set designed as an affordable, ready-to-play kit for beginners, students, rehearsal spaces, and gigging drummers. It comes in Black Night Sparkle and uses poplar shells for a warm, full sound with a moderate attack. TAMA specifically designed the Stagestar line to combine affordability with features normally found on more expensive kits.

The shells are made from poplar, which TAMA describes as producing a warm, full tone with medium attack.

Notable features
