The X Series is made to play. The 00-X2E Cocobolo is a smaller body acoustic-electric featuring a hand-rubbed satin spruce top with an elegant abalone pattern rosette and eye-catching cocobolo pattern high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides for added durability and looks, without sacrificing that classic Martin tone. Playability enhancements include a thinner fingerboard with a gently beveled comfort edge and refined string spacing, and a modernized bridge contour for a smooth and comfortable playing experience. It also features a select hardwood neck, fingerboard, and bridge for improved sound and sustain, and Martin E-1 electronics with a built-in chromatic tuner and volume, tone, and phase controls. The 00-X2E Cocobolo provides clear trebles complemented with warm bass, unplugged or plugged in, letting you play how you want, wherever you want. All X Series models come with a softshell case.

Features

Highlights

00-14 Fret body size

Cocobolo HPL back and sides

Spruce top

PA Profile neck with High-Performance Taper

1 3/4'' fingerboard width at nut

Softshell case

Top

Top Material : Spruce

Finish Top : Hand-Rubbed-Satin

Top Color : None

Top Inlay Material : None

Top Detail : None

Binding : None

Bridge Material : Select Hardwood

Bridge Style : Sloped Modern Belly

Bridge String Spacing : 2 5/32"

Bridge Pin Material : White Plastic

Bridge Pin Dots : Black Plastic

Pickguard : Faux Tortoise

Pickguard Inlay : None

Rosette : Single Ring Abalone Pattern

Saddle : White TUSQ

Saddle Radius : 16"

Body

Body Size : 00-14 Fret

Construction : Mortise & Tenon Neck Joint

Back Material : Cocobolo HPL

Side Material : Cocobolo HPL

Back and Side Finish : Satin

Back and Sides Color : None

Back Detail : None

Side Detail : None

Back Purfling/Strip : None

Back Inlay Material : None

Side Inlay Material : None

Bracing Pattern : X-Brace

Brace Shape : Scalloped

Brace Material : Spruce

Brace Size : 5/16"

Endpiece : None

Endpiece Inlay : None

Neck

Neck Shape : PA Profile

Neck Taper : High-Performance Taper

Neck Material : Select Hardwood

Neck Color : None

Finish Neck : Hand-Rubbed

Scale Length : 24.9"

Number of Frets Total : 20

Neck Joins Body At : 14th Fret

Heelcap : Black Boltaron

Fingerboard Material : Select Hardwood

Fingerboard Width at 12th Fret : 2 1/8''

Fingerboard Width at Nut : 1 3/4''

Fingerboard Inlay Style : 28 Style

Fingerboard Inlay Material : Faux Abalone Pattern

Fingerboard Binding Material : None

Side Dots : White

Headstock

Headstock Shape : Solid

Headplate Material : Cocobolo HPL

Headplate Logo Style : Script Ink

Headplate Binding Material : None

Tuning Machines : Satin Chrome Closed Gear

Knob : Small

Nut Material : White Corian

Misc

Case : Softshell

Label : Paper Label

Electronics : Martin E-1

Left Handed Availability : true

Pleked : true

What's Included

00-X2E

X Series, 00-14 Fret, Acoustic Electric

Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 Guitar Strings Phosphor Bronze - Light

Pre-strung on instrument

Softshell Case

Waterproof, Backpack straps, Internal padding protection
