Up for sale is a beautiful 1984 Tokai Goldstar Sound TST-55 in the rare Pearl Pink (PP) finish, complete with its original hard case.

This is a fantastic example of Tokai's highly regarded Japanese made Strat style guitars from the golden era of Japanese guitar production. It features the desirable Fender style headstock shape, rosewood fingerboard, vintage-style hardware and the classic Goldstar Sound appointments.

The guitar is completely original and remains in amazing condition, especially considering that it is now over 40 years old. It has only minor flaws from normal use and age and presents considerably better than you would typically expect from a mid-1980s instrument. Please review all photos closely for the best representation of its condition.

There is only very light buckle rash on the back, along with minor signs of handling and use. The frets show very little wear as pictured and have plenty of life remaining.

The original electronics operate 100% as they should, and the guitar sounds fantastic. The neck is straight, the truss rod operates properly, and the guitar plays nicely across the entire fingerboard.

The guitar retains its original “55” model/price-grade sticker on the neck heel as well as the original Made in Japan sticker. The body cavity is factory marked “PP,” corresponding to its Pearl/Pale Pink finish. Serial number is L22286.

The original hard case is included and is in very good condition overall. It does show some normal exterior wear and tear from age and use, but everything operates as it should and the case houses and protects the guitar properly.
