The SABIAN SBR 16 inch Crash Cymbal gives developing drummers a clear accent voice without adding unnecessary complexity to the setup. Made from pure brass, this thin crash produces a loud, punchy response that helps musical accents stand apart in practice, rehearsal, and performance. Its 16 inch size fills the familiar crash role in a drum set, while the focused character keeps each strike direct and easy to place.

Bright and Focused Crash Sound

The SBr series is known for a bright sound with a tightly focused character. That combination gives this crash definition when used for transitions, rhythmic punctuation, and emphasized hits. The loud, punchy voice provides an immediate accent rather than a soft background wash, helping the cymbal serve as a clear musical marker within a groove.

Hammered and Lathed Brass Surface

SABIAN shapes the SBr series with hammered and lathed surfaces. This 16 inch crash pairs that traditional surface treatment with a natural finish and a modern style. The brass construction, thin weight, and visible surface pattern create a straightforward cymbal choice for players building a first setup or adding a dedicated accent crash.
