Here for sale we have an Ibanez RG2550E electric guitar in Galaxy Black finish. Made in Japan in 2005, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body, 5-piece maple/ walnut neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including an Ibanez Edge Pro tremolo system and Gotoh SG381 tuning machines. A trio of Ibanez DiMarzio IBZ RG pickups are installed in an HSH configuration, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume & master tone control.

The 5-Piece Maple/Walnut neck plays very well. The ‘Wizard Prestige’ profile feels nicely slender and articulate in the hand, with a flattened area to the centre of the neck which promotes ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers and helps to facilitate fast, technical playing. This is further enhanced by the gloss finish which promotes easy navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 20" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register, well suited to string bending & vibrato thanks to the jumbo frets.

The trio of DiMarzio IBZ pickups installed in this guitar deliver a wide array of sounds, with the best of humbucking and single-coil tones on offer. The neck pickup is bold and warm, providing all of the clarity needed for your solo tones whilst remaining bright enough for chording and articulate rhythm parts. The humbucker in the bridge is hotter, delivering a full-bodied and saturated harmonic distortion for your lead tones when driving the amp. The single-coil in the middle position has a high output for a single-coil, meaning that it blends well with the neck and bridge pickups.
