The Yamaha TRBX304 is designed for players who need modern flexibility, aggressive styling, and dependable active bass performance. Built around Yamaha’s ergonomic TRBX platform, the TRBX304 combines comfort, tonal control, and powerful humbucking response in a streamlined modern bass design suited for rehearsals, stage use, recording, and everyday practice.

Its dual humbucking pickup configuration delivers punchy lows, focused mids, and articulate clarity across a wide range of musical styles including rock, metal, funk, pop, fusion, and modern session work. Compared to traditional single-coil bass platforms, the humbucking system provides a fuller and more controlled response with reduced noise and stronger overall output.

The active 2-band EQ works alongside Yamaha’s Performance EQ switch, allowing players to quickly tailor the instrument’s voice depending on playing style and musical application. Preset voicings optimize the bass for slap playing, fingerstyle, pick attack, solo performance, and flat response settings, making the TRBX304 exceptionally adaptable across changing live and studio situations.

The mahogany body provides warmth, sustain, and balanced resonance, while the slim 5-piece maple and mahogany neck improves stability and overall playing comfort. Yamaha’s sculpted TRBX body contours also help reduce fatigue during longer rehearsals and performances while maintaining the aggressive modern styling that defines the series.

The White finish gives the TRBX304 a clean modern appearance with strong visual contrast against the black nickel hardware and aggressive body contours. The result is a bass that feels sleek, contemporary, and stage-ready while still maintaining Yamaha’s understated modern design language.
