A modern nylon-string crossover designed for electric and steel-string players who want comfortable playability with natural amplified performance.

• Thin-body cutaway design improves comfort and feedback control
• Narrower neck profile creates a faster, more familiar playing feel
• Solid spruce top delivers clarity and dynamic response
• Atmosfeel pickup system provides natural amplified nylon-string tone
• Black finish gives the guitar a clean modern stage-ready appearance

The Yamaha NTX1 is built for players who want the tonal character of a nylon-string guitar with a faster and more approachable feel than a traditional classical instrument. Its slimmer body and narrower neck profile make the transition easier for electric and steel-string players while maintaining the warmth and articulation associated with nylon strings.

The thinner body construction provides a more controlled and feedback-resistant response, making the NTX1 especially well-suited for live performance environments. Its focused tonal profile delivers strong note clarity with a tighter low end that sits naturally in live mixes and recording applications.

The solid spruce top gives the NTX1 clear articulation and responsive dynamics, while the cutaway body design improves upper fret access for modern playing styles including fingerstyle, fusion, jazz, Latin, and contemporary acoustic performance.

Compared to a traditional full-depth classical guitar, the NTX1 feels more compact, controlled, and stage-oriented while still preserving the expressive character and softer attack of nylon strings.

Equipped with Yamaha’s Atmosfeel pickup system, the NTX1 delivers a more natural and realistic amplified tone than many traditional piezo-based nylon-string systems. The system captures greater depth and body resonance while maintaining clarity and balance at stage volume.

The Black finish gives the NTX1 a modern understated visual character that pairs naturally with its contemporary crossover design and stage-focused feel.
