A compact acoustic-electric with a distinctive exotic wood top, travel-friendly portability, and warm vintage-inspired visual character.

• 3/4-size APX body for portability and comfort
• Exotic mango wood top delivers unique visual texture and organic character
• Thin-line cutaway design provides comfortable playability and upper fret access
• System 68 pickup and preamp for simple plug-and-play performance
• Tobacco Brown Sunburst finish adds warm vintage-inspired depth and contrast

The Yamaha APXT2EW builds on the portability and playability of the standard APXT2 while adding a visually distinctive exotic wood top for players looking for something with more visual personality. Designed for travel, songwriting, practice, and casual performance, it delivers the same compact comfort in a more refined and expressive visual package.

The 3/4-size APX body provides a focused and balanced acoustic response with clear articulation and controlled low end. Its compact form factor makes it easy to transport while still maintaining enough tonal definition for practice sessions, light strumming, fingerstyle playing, and recording ideas.

The shorter 580 mm scale length gives the APXT2EW a relaxed and approachable playing feel that works especially well for newer players, younger musicians, or experienced players looking for a compact secondary instrument.

The exotic mango wood top gives the APXT2EW a more visually textured appearance than a standard spruce-top acoustic, helping each instrument feel slightly unique while maintaining Yamaha’s clean modern APX styling.

Equipped with Yamaha’s System 68 pickup and preamp, the APXT2EW is ready for amplified use in small live settings, practice rigs, or home recording setups, delivering a clean and dependable signal with minimal setup.

The Tobacco Brown Sunburst finish adds stronger vintage-inspired contrast and visual warmth, giving the APXT2EW a more traditional burst appearance while still preserving the lightweight portability and compact comfort that define the APXT platform.
